10 Years of ExCS (a few months late)

10 Years of ExCS (a few months late)

Changes are coming to ExChristianScience.com. We are working on moving from a blog format, to a more evergreen site. The content will remain, the format will change.

We will continue to offer support resources to help individuals negotiate a transition away from Christian Science in a manner that best fits their needs and convictions. We do not advocate any one particular path but acknowledge that there are many legitimate pathways that can be personally and spiritually fulfilling.

We will continue to provide a platform for former Christian Scientists to share their experiences, critical and thoughtful analyses of CS, awareness of the harm that has been done by CS, support and resources to those who are leaving or have left CS, and links to both Christian and secular communities and resources.

This past April marked the tenth anniversary of the Ex-Christian Scientist website, it came and went with little fanfare. Christian Scientists do not celebrate birthdays, or anniversaries, and while we no longer practice, this particular milestone slid right past largely unnoticed.

Much has happened in the last ten years. The ExCS Facebook community has grown to over 600 members, we have fielded media inquires, assisted in doctoral dissertations, spoken with various members of the media, and helped people who have reached out.

Thank you all for your ongoing contributions and support.

With Appreciation, the ExCS Admin Team
