These terms cover this website, exchristianscience.com, run by The Ex-Christian Scientist (“we”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What the site is
The site collects first-hand experiences of Christian Science, resources for people leaving it, and writing about its history and influence. It is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate, but we make no promise that it is, and nothing on it is medical, legal, or other professional advice.
Our writing
Posts are the views of their writers at the time they wrote them, not necessarily the views of the site or its editors. The same goes for the comments archived under older posts, which belong to the people who wrote them.
Sharing and copyright
You may share, quote, and reblog the writing on this site with clear credit to “The Ex-Christian Scientist” and, where you can, a link back to the post. Writers keep the copyright in what they wrote. Images may not be shared or reproduced without permission, except as part of a reblog.
Images are credited to their source where it is known, except those the editors made. If an image is credited wrongly, or used without its copyright holder’s permission, email us and we will correct it or remove it.
Sharing your story
If you send a story through the form, you agree that we may write back to you at the address you gave, and publish your story on the site as you asked, anonymously or with the name you gave. Our Privacy Policy says what the site collects and what we do with it.
Comments
Comments are closed. The comments under older posts are kept as a read-only archive. If you wrote one and want it removed, email us.
Using the site
Don’t use the site to break the law, to harm the site or other people, to send spam through the story form, or to probe or attack the site. Reading the site with automated tools is fine as long as it doesn’t interfere with it.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites for reference. We don’t control them, aren’t responsible for what they contain or how they handle your information, and a link doesn’t mean we endorse them.
