I also read "With Bleeding Footsteps" by Robert D. Thomas
He was given limited access to the archives, but wasn't as damning as he could have been

I have just found this site. I was brought up in a Christian Science home (mother not father) and was very shy child. I now feel validated. I never had my hurts. Fears and feelings validated. Just to hear 'God is perfect and so are you' so I remained afraid of my body and strong feelings all of my years. I have always suspected that this was a root cause and now I can take this site to my therapist. I hope I can get beyond this now.
